The announcement text:
Infobase Publishing has an immediate opening for a Mid-Level Web Developer.



Responsibilities include web development and maintenance for our online educational database products, content management system, streaming video platforms, eBook platform, e-commerce websites, and other web-based applications.



The developer will work on a variety of different projects and should be able to provide new ideas that work within our current systems. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, forward thinking, innovative, and results oriented, with a high attention to detail. The developer must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to communicate well with non-technical people inside and outside of Infobase Publishing.



Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree, and two to five years of related experience and/or training.

- Demonstrated experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP (VBScript), ASP.NET (VB.NET and C#), Visual Basic, and SQL Server 2000 (stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages)

- Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle

- Demonstrated ability to learn new products and technologies

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills



In addition, familiarity with content management systems as well as Adobe Flash technologies is a strong plus.
